How Christians React To Bad News vs How Everybody Else Reacts To Bad News - What I Learned From Kenneth & Gloria Copeland's Daily Devotional For Today - 11th January 2017 - A Review By A.B.King

Matthew 14:30-31 KJV
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. [31] And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

In today's devotional, Pastor Kenneth Copeland explained that the devil wants us to take our eyes off God's Word and look at the Bad News and all the reasons why we can't make it.
We must not make the mistake that Peter made in the above scripture and take our eyes of Jesus a.k.a The Word.
No matter what situation we find ourselves in. No Matter how dark & bad the news get, we should keep our eyes on the Word. That's how we as Christians are to react to Bad News. We react to Bad News by keeping our eyes on the Good News.

My Prayer For You:

I pray that you react to Bad News like a Christian by taking your eyes off the Bad and seeing only the Solution (which can only be seen through the lens of the Word of God).

Further Study:
Matthew 14:22-23 KJV
And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. [23] And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
